 SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

• Your Short Film must be Canadian

• 20 minutes maximum length including credits 

• LGBTTQ* expression and content are evident in the Short’s theme, story, acting and/or the setting, and be of interest to the LGBTTQ* community

• Films can be fiction or non-fiction, a biography, a documentary, youth topic, an animation, live action, experimental, or narrative

• The Short Film was completed no earlier than January 1st 2018

• Only ONE Short Film per online entry. Please use a separate entry for each Short film

  * Short Films previously submitted in 2018, 2019 and 2020, but were not on the “Official Selection”, can be re-submitted if completed by Jan. 1, 2018

ABOUT THE CALL:

• There is NO SUBMISSION FEE for online entry.

• Submissions open on June 1st 2021

• Submissions close on August 30th 2021
  at 12:00pm CDT

• Each short film in the “Official Selection” will receive an honorarium

• There are SIX AWARDS: Jurys Choice, Audience Choice, and Manitoba’s best, Emerging Filmmaker, Best animated, and Community Reflection

• Reel Pride is presenting its 2021 Festival VIRTUALLY, using Eventive.

• The festival runs from OCTOBER 123th to 17th 2021!
